PROJECT 1 - Milled Skull
As a test piece and to demonstrate the capabilities of our latest machining centre, with the help of the guys at XYZ Machine Tools, we programmed and machined a skull from a billet of aluminium leaving on one side all the rough machining passes so that our customers could understand how the machining process was completed and also how we achieved the final result and surface finish to the other half of the skull.

Project 2 - Libertine's intelliGEN
We have had permission from our customer Libertine to share some parts we made in action.
We made the following parts;
Titanium pistons
Main stainless steel combustion chamber
Titanium connecting rods
Main outer shell.
This is a recent test run of Libertine's intelliGEN opposed piston development engine platform, running at 2Hz & 20Hz, 120mm stroke, 12:1 compression ratio. This platform provides a basis for GDI combustion research and opposed piston engine development, utilising the platform's real-time compression ratio control capabilities.
A synchronised opposed piston engine gives very low vibration!
