JKP has a long established track record of providing our customers with economical solutions to product and manufacturing problems

from re-designing of existing tooling and gauging through to offering a full turn key solution for new products. 

 

Our expert team is more than capable of taking customer concepts and ideas and converting them into full working CAD models proving out

potential problems before metal has even been cut.  Our staff can advise on things such as material selection, right through to surface treatments

and wear resistant coatings in order that you receive tooling that is more than capable of coping with modern day production.

CNC Milling

As specialists in CNC Milling, we can provide precision machined parts manufactured to your specific requirements achieving exacting tolerances. We can reverse engineer parts from a sample given using our on-site measuring and design service. JKP Engineering (UK) Ltd offer a premier sub-contract milling solution. Combining our experiences with the latest machining technologies, our customers benefit from a speedy and cost efficient milling service, allowing them to concentrate on other aspects of their own business. Production is consistently monitored to reduce time and be cost effective, enabling us to provide high quality precision machined parts, whether it be a one off component or a high volume production run. Our latest CNC milling machines provide the perfect solution to demanding and complex machining designs. Using our 3D CAD package, we can interpret any customer drawings or any 3D surface models thus can guarantee what you have designed will be replicated 100%. By ordering from us you will be advised and supported throughout the process by our friendly and knowledgable staff. Our latest machine was introduced in March 2015 and is an XYZ 1020 inclusive of a large integrated 4th axis. This VMC (vertical machining centre) offers a travel of 1020mm by 580mm. CNC Turning

At JKP Engineering (UK) Ltd we have the experience and machining capability to manufacture a wide range of turned components, whether it be small intricate parts produced on one of our Hitachi Hi-Cell lathes or larger work pieces of up to a diameter of 880mm machined on either our Mori Seiki or XYZ lathes. 

 

We are able to achieve exacting tolerances on all jobs, whether they are machined from plastic, brass, aluminium or steels, right through to heat resistant nickel based alloys.

 

Whether it be a large one off component to drawing, a production run of small surgical instruments or titanium aerospace components, JKP can meet your requirements and deliver on time.

Precision Grinding

Having its origins in Toolmaking JKP has always been able to provide our customers with precision ground components, whether it be punches and dies for press tools or precision ground shafts, circular cutting blades or flat shear blades etc. 

 

Having a wealth of experience and a comprehensive range of machine tools, we are able to offer surface grinding, cylindrical, internal and external, rotary table, bevel grinding and also tool cutter and drill point sharpening. 

 

Whether it be brass, bronze, mild steel, hardened tool steels or even tungston carbides, JKP can achieve the desired surface and tolerances that are demanded by industry today.  We can achieve tolerances of 0.003 of a millimeter on either cylindrical or flat work.

CNC Wire Spark Erosion

To compliment the other machining process and also to support the toolmaking side of our business, we employ a Ona Prima E250 CNC wire spark machine.

This enables JKP to produce very accurate shapes in a wide range of metals from aluminium's and brass, right through to hardened tool steels and tungsten carbides.

Quality Assurance engineering rotherham

Quality Assurance

From the moment you place an order with us you can be assured that it will be processed in accordance with our in-house quality standards and procedures.

Initially sending you a confirmation of the order you have placed and also confirming the delivery date we can offer. From the ordering of materials right through to the completion of your work you can be assured that at each production stage  your work will be monitored and inspected by our production team and dedicated inspector.

When your components have gone through all stages of manufacture and are complete, they will enter our Quality Assurance department to undergo final inspection. This will be carried out by our experienced inspector checking all sizes and toleranced dimesions on your drawing on our CMM (Co-ordinated measuring machine). If the components have undergone  heat treatment we also have the facility to check this on site and record the hardnesses achieved.

If you require full material certification, dimensional inspection report and hardness achieved, these can be supplied on request at a pre-agreed cost.

After final pass off you will be contacted informing you that your order is complete and is now ready for collection or dispatch.
